EOIR’s technology infrastructure is critical to EOIR’s daily operations and ensuring timely updates is a primary focus for OIT to best support all EOIR stakeholders.

1. Continue to perform analyses of OIT’s contract vehicle alternatives and strive to utilize the most effective options that provide best value to EOIR.

2. Continue to improve the EOIR intranet user experience, ensuring the most critical information for each component is easily obtainable. Focus on making component specific information more centralized and accessible.

3. Continue to collaborate with JMD’s Office of the Chief Information Officer to ensure internet content is up-to-date, accessible, and efficiently managed.

4. Continue to enhance methods of tracking and performing searches to process Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests and assess the current ability to track Congressional, Government Accountability Office (GAO), and Office of Inspector General (OIG) inquiries.

5. Continue to collaborate with JMD’s Office of the Chief Information Officer to ensure systems are accurately patched, users are educated on cyber security & phishing awareness, and logs are continuously sent for full evaluation for any signs of compromise by the DOJ Security Operations Center.
