Appendix F: EOIR Performance Goals

The Department of Justice Strategic Plan for Fiscal Years 2022-2026 includes specific long-term outcome goals, covering the five strategic goals. The EOIR Strategic Plan reflects the Department’s current objectives and direction for the future. The chart below provides EOIR’s long-term outcome goals for FY 2024 through FY 2028 as well as other EOIR metrics.  This list covers key mission areas and outcomes that can be related in either a direct or indirect way to the strategic goals, objectives, and activities for the Department’s components covered by this Plan.

The list of long-term outcome goals fully aligns with the Department’s priorities, addresses important policy issues, and expresses the Department’s continued commitment to making progress on a range of issues of public importance. The targets for annual measures that contribute to the achievement of long-term outcome goals will be provided in the DOJ Annual Budget and Performance Summary and reported each year in the DOJ Annual Performance Report.
