International Criminal Investigative Training Assistance Program (ICITAP) News

On January 2, the ICITAP-mentored Joint Investigative Team (JIT) received training on the proper use of digital evidence to support substantive investigative matters.

On December 24, the Territorial Community Police Officer (TCPO) Project graduated 129 additional officers at the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

From December 13 to 17, the ICITAP Analytical Development (ADP) Team facilitated Basic Analyst's Notebook training for the Directorate General Immigration. 

On December 12, ICITAP’s Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF) Advisor was invited to the Maldives Police Service (MPS) Training Academy in Vaanee to speak to the recruit class about International Terrorism.

On December 7, the ICITAP-Nepal Law Enforcement Assistance Attaché provided an update on ICITAP’s assistance in Nepal.

From November 29 to 30, ICITAP provided virtual training to 43 forensic specialists from the Colombia Attorney General’s Office (AGO) Human Identification laboratories of the Technical Investigation Corps and to Colombia National Police forensic laboratory personnel in the “Management of Commingled Human Remains.”

On November 21, the ICITAP-Mali mission provided an update on its assistance to the Mali National Police (NP).

On November 12, the Ukrainian Patrol Police held a graduation ceremony for the sixth iteration of the ICITAP-designed and mentored Master Trainer of Police (MTOP) course. 

On November 8, the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia officially opened the ICITAP Women in Policing course in Yerevan. 

On October 29, 2021, the ICITAP-Mali Law Enforcement Assistance Attaché (LEAA) attended a graduation of Mali National Police (NP) Officers trained on the Human Resource Management System (HRMS), which was installed and made operational by ICITAP IT experts from Albania and Mali. 

On October 22, ICITAP-Serbia completed a five-day Cryptocurrency and Dark Web Investigations Training at the Police University in Belgrade.

On October 7, ICITAP’s Women Leadership Development Program (WLDP) team facilitated HELP RENAKTA App and Dashboard System training for 24 investigators from 12 District Police Offices (Polres) in the Greater Jakarta Area within the Regional Police Office (Polda ) Metro Jaya (PMJ) jurisdiction.
