EOUSA Resource Manual

79. Payment Of Costs

Travel and per diem expenses of the EEO Investigators will be paid by the EOUSA.

Travel authorizations issued by the EEO staff will be subject to the approval of the EEO Assistant Director or his/her designee. The Budget Office will obligate the funds and approve the travel voucher.

All other expenses resulting from the processing of a complaint of discrimination will be paid by the office in which the complaint arose.

Included in these expenses are the costs of the court reporter transcription service for the delivery of the original and one copy of the sworn statements of all witnesses interviewed. In addition, the respondent district has the financial responsibility of reimbursing the EOUSA for the cost of final agency decisions rendered by the Complaints Adjudication Officer.
