Law Enforcement Coordination

The U.S. Attorney’s Office engages daily with a range of public safety representatives, including federal investigative agencies, state police and local police departments. Law enforcement work closely with prosecutors at the U.S. Attorney’s Office to charge individuals who violate federal law.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office coordinators a ceremony recognizing superior performance of individuals who are involved in specific federal cases. Representatives of the U.S. Attorney’s Office also meet regularly with public safety executives as a way to promote information sharing, coordination and collaboration around preventing crime and enforcing federal law. 

The USAO D-NH sponsors no-cost training opportunities addressing various subjects pertinent to law enforcement officials. These trainings are made available to all state, local and federal law enforcement agencies.

Community Engagement

Community Engagement is a critical component of the USAO's mission. The effectiveness of the U.S. Attorney’s Office is enhanced by its awareness of the perspectives and needs of those it serves. The U.S. Attorney’s Office dedicates resources to engaging with community members and non-governmental organizations.

National Night Out (August 6, 2024)

The U.S. Attorney's Office is participating in National Night Out, which is community event that enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing a true sense of community. It provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

The U.S. Attorney's Office will have tents at the Manchester, Concord, and Portsmouth locations. We hope you will join us!
