Event Details

This October, the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office, the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, and the Raleigh Police Department are honoring Domestic Violence Awareness Month by sharing victim-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed training and resources that support individuals and families experiencing domestic violence or intimate partner violence. The training will cover: Federal Firearms Laws, Intimate Partner Violence: Victim and Perpetrator Realities and Officer Frustrations, and a Survivors Panel.

Training is recommended for victim advocates, shelter and social workers, NGOs, law enforcement officials, prosecutors, mental health professionals, survivors and other professionals and community stakeholders.

Please complete the attached registration form by October 7th. Seating is limited. A completed registration form must be received to reserve your seat.
