Professional Responsibility Advisory Office

The mission of the Professional Responsibility Advisory Office (PRAO) is to ensure prompt, consistent advice to Department attorneys and Assistant United States Attorneys with respect to professional responsibility and choice-of-law issues.

Complaints concerning the actions of individual Department attorneys and Assistant United States Attorneys are not processed and/or handled by PRAO but should be referred to the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).
