440. Suppression as a Remedy

When financial records are obtained in violation of the Act courts have held that suppression is not a remedy authorized by the Act. United States v. Whitty, 688 F. Supp. 48 (D.Me. 1988), United States v. Musson, 650 F. Supp. (D.Colo. 1986), and United States v. Chuang, 696 F. Supp. 910 (S.D.N.Y. 1988).
