1807. Conspiracy

Defendants may be charged with the separate offense of conspiracy to aid and assist an escape under the conspiracy statute, 18 U.S.C. § 371, as well as the offense of aiding and assisting an escape under 18 U.S.C. §  752(a). United States v. Bridgeman, 523 F.2d 1099, 1121 (D.C. Cir. 1975), cert. denied, 425 U.S. 961 (1976). See also United States v. Eaglin, 571 F.2d 1069 (9th Cir. 1977), cert. denied, 435 U.S. 906 (1978); United States v. Gorham, 523 F.2d 1088, 1090 (D.C. Cir. 1975); and United States v. Hobson, 519 F.2d 765 (9th Cir.), cert. denied, 423 U.S. 931 (1975).
