Defend Trade Secrets Act Reports

The Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016, Pub. L. No. 114-153, provides that the Attorney General, in consultation with the Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator, the Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the heads of other appropriate agencies shall report biannually report to Congress on the scope and effect of trade secret thefts occurring outside the United States and the U.S. Government response to the issue.

The report, compiled with input from the Office of the Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Commerce, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, and reflects information and activities of these agencies in this area through May 2018.
