Victim's Compensation
I am the sister of the deceased , as a result of the World Trade Center Disaster.
I am in total disagreement with the fact that you are not going to give a settlement amount before signing the settlement agreement and giving up our rights to sue.
My Mother was dependant on my brother constantly. She was not only dependant on him financially, but she also depended on him to pour a glass of water, open the window, make the bed, etc. She is handicapped and has severe arthritis.
I do not believe either that the life insurance that my brother paid for yearly should be deducted from the settlement amount. Also, I do not believe that the donations from the Americans of the United States of America should be deducted either.
Please reconsider all of these conditions.
