Methamphetamine

Methamphetamine seldom is produced, distributed, or abused in Massachusetts. According to TEDS, methamphetamine-related admissions to publicly funded facilities fluctuated at low levels from 1994 to 1999. (See Table 1 in Heroin section.) Only two incidents of methamphetamine production have been reported in Massachusetts since 1997. The limited methamphetamine activity that occurs in the state generally is attributed to OMGs.
