Background

28 U.S.C. § 589b authorizes the Department of Justice to issue rules requiring uniform periodic reports filed by debtors-in-possession or trustees in cases under chapter 11 of title 11. Accordingly, on December 21, 2020, the “Procedures for Completing Uniform Periodic Reports in Non-Small Business Cases Filed Under Chapter 11 of Title 11” rule was published in the Federal Register.
