Operation Maximum Response Charges Six In Racketerring Conspiracy and Murders

On June 5, 2014, U.S. Attorney A. Lee Bentley, III announced the unsealing of a twenty-eight count second superseding indictment charging six individuals with racketeering and conspiracy charges. The investigation, spanning 2007 through 2013, involved multiple offenses, including drug trafficking and the murder of nine individuals in Manatee County (Florida) and surrounding areas. Joined by federal, state, and local law enforcement partners from multiple jurisdictions, Mr. Bentley encouraged anyone with relevant information to call the confidential “TIP LINE” at 1-888-ATF-GUNS (1-888-283-4867).
