Criminal Division Deputy Chief - John P. McAdams

John P. McAdams was appointed as Deputy Criminal Chief in 2026. He has served as a federal prosecutor since 2002 and was the Senior Litigation Counsel (SLC) for the District of Rhode Island. He has previously served in senior roles with the Department of Justice’s Tax Division. Mr. McAdams also served as a Trial Attorney and as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia.
