United States Attorney's Office to Join 1st Annual Resource Fair and Block Party

United States Attorney Zachary A. Cunha is pleased to announce that his office will join the first annual Nonviolence Institute Resource Fair and Block Party on June 3, 2023.

The first annual Nonviolence Institute Resource Fair will offer participants access to a range of services and information that will help them better negotiate the unique range of needs. Public and private organizations will showcase resources and programs that contribute to the well-being of the public including – but not limited to – mental health, housing, job training, food security and healthcare. The goal of this event is to spread knowledge in an engaging, non-threatening environment where everyone feels welcomed and included.

Representatives from over 60 nonprofit and for-profit organizations will be on hand to answer questions, to provide guidance, and to support individual and family goals. The day will also be fun and family-friendly: food trucks, games, prizes etc. will underpin a full itinerary of programming and activities aimed at making access to available valuable resources easier.

Sponsors include Washington Trust, Neighborhood Health Plan of RI, Polaris MEP and Skills for RI Future. Their support will help ensure a great outcome to the Resource Fair.

We are truly excited about this initiative and the immediate, ripple, and long-term impact of the day. We expect at least 1,000 participants at the Nonviolence Institute on June 3rd from 10am-4pm. Our deep connection to our community will add to the success of this initiative. We are a trusted partner and known for our empathy, which will surely create an uplifting one-stop event.
