Criminal Charges: On May 9, 2024, Andrew A. Wiederhorn, William J. Amon, Rebecca D. Hershinger, and Fat Brands Inc. (stock ticker: FAT), were charged by indictment with various criminal violations of Titles 15, 18, and 26 of the United States Code. 

According to the indictment, defendants Wiederhorn, Hershinger, and Fat Brands Inc., committed crimes including, among others, wire fraud, extension and maintenance of credit in the form of a personal loan from an issuer to an executive officer, false statements and omissions of material facts to auditors, and certifying faulty financial reports. The defendants have pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.
