Celebrating the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

On January 13, 2022, the Civil Rights Division held an event celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The speakers included civil rights icon Fred D. Gray, Sr., LDF President and Director-Counsel Sherrilyn Ifill, former Governor Deval Patrick, Howard Law School Dean Danielle Holley-Walker, and next generation civil rights leaders Sage Grace Dolan-Sandrino, Dakota Hall, and Stephanie Hu.  Attorney General Merrick Garland and Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta provided remarks, and Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke hosted the event.
