Register Now for an Upcoming FOIA Best Practices Workshop on Innovative Methods for Using and Sharing Resources

The Chief FOIA Officers Council (CFO Council) Committee on Cross-Agency Collaboration and Innovation (COCACI) was established to research and propose cross-agency programs and align agency resources to promote transparency.  The purpose of the COCACI Resources Working Group is to identify opportunities for standardization of resources available to FOIA offices to increase efficiency and ease of use across government agencies.  To facilitate broader discussion of these topics across the government, the Resources Working Group is conducting a Best Practices Workshop on “Innovative Methods for Using and Sharing Resources.”

The event will take place on October 25, 2023 from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm. Three one-hour panel discussions will cover the following topics:

  1. How to build – or rebuild – a successful agency information program
  2. FOIA Technology – Where can it help, where does it fall short?
  3. Innovative FOIA Staffing Opportunities

This event is open to all agency FOIA professionals.  Registration is required on Eventbrite.
