OIP Hosting Second Annual FOIA Requester Roundtable

On December 8, 2010, the Office of Information Policy (OIP), Department of Justice, will host its second annual roundtable discussion with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requester community. This event will serve as an opportunity for FOIA requesters and OIP's FOIA professionals to exchange ideas for increased cooperation, explore approaches to improve FOIA processing, and discuss areas where agencies can provide useful information in a more accessible format to the public. Building on the success of last year's Requester Roundtable, this continued collaboration will facilitate development of FOIA policy guidance and FOIA Best Practices in this new era of open government.

Registration is required to attend this event.
