INTERVIEW LOCATION

(Honors Program Only)

Initial interviews may be conducted via VTC or telephone. 

Any face-to-face interviews will be conducted at United States Attorney's Office, District of Oregon, 1000 SW 3rd Ave., Suite 600, Portland, Oregon 97204.  Please allow 10 minutes to clear Security. Upon arriving at the building, report to the Security Desk, then go to the elevators on the left, proceed to the 6th floor, and tell the information assistant that you are there for an interview and request they contact Eve Swickert. 

TRAVEL FROM THE AIRPORT: 

  • Public Transportation:  The MAX Red Line will take you from the Airport to Pioneer Square (corner of Morrison and Broadway).  Once you exit at Pioneer Square, travel east (toward the river) on Morrison and make a right onto 3rd Avenue.  The U.S. Attorney's Office is on the left. 
  • Travel time to and from the airport ranges between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on traffic. 

PRE-INTERVIEW SUBMISSIONS

Honors Program & Summer Law Intern Program

The U.S. Attorney for the District of requests a cover letter and a current résumé.  All documents should be sent electronically. 

Submission Deadline

Not later than 10 business days after notification of selection for an interview.

Submit the cover letter,and résumé, by e-mail as attachments to: Eve.Swickert@usdoj.gov

The email subject line should reflect the name of the Program and include the candidate’s name.

For example, documents submitted by an Honors Program candidate named  J. Q. Candidate should read: Honors Program Submission - J.Q. Candidate
