Dwayne E. Spriggs

In November 2022, Mr. Dwayne E. Spriggs joined the Federal Government’s Senior Executive Service as the Director of the Service Delivery Staff within the Office of the Chief Information Officer in the Justice Management Division. He directs 120 federal employees and over 300 contract personnel in the delivery of email and collaboration, internet and intranet sites, telecommunications, and information technology (IT) hosting, networking, service/support desk, and classified systems services. Prior to joining JMD, Mr. Spriggs served as Division Chief for the Office of Science and Technology, IT Systems Delivery Division for the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and served there for eight years. He also served as the Division Chief for the Data Management Division, ATF. Prior to ATF, Mr. Spriggs served in several roles at the Department of Defense, including Director of Enterprise Services for the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and Division Chief of Solutions Development for the WHS. He has led several application development efforts, and initiatives to modernize network infrastructures in support of more than 10,000 customers, including the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mr. Spriggs has worked in the commercial sector as the Director of DoD Business Services and Sr. Network Architect for CentreTEK Solutions. He is a Certified Information System Security Professional and a member of the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium. Mr. Spriggs is also Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certified. He earned a degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland University College (BS) and a master’s degree in Public Administration from American University (MPA).  Mr. Spriggs is a member of the Masters of Public Administration Honors Society - Pi Alpha Alpha - American University Chapter.
