Hate Crimes Spotlight
The “Engaging and Building Relationships with Arab American Communities” program is designed to educate law enforcement, schools, religious and secular communities, and public and private organizations toward a more positive and supportive engagement with Arab Americans and communities.
As the new academic year approaches, the Justice Department’s Community Relations Service (CRS), in collaboration with the Department’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services and The Ohio State University’s Divided Community Project, is pleased to provide you with a brand-new publication: “Navigating Conflicts: A Guide for Campus Leaders and Public Safety Personnel.”
This June, the U.S. Department of Justice proudly honors the resilience, courage, and contributions of LGBTQI+ individuals across the nation, and affirms our unwavering commitment to supporting the rights of LGBTQI+ people to live openly and proudly.
This year’s NCVRW theme is “How would you help? Options, services, and hope for crime survivors.” This theme underscores the importance of our individual and collective responsibilities to empower victims through relevant and impactful support services.
