PM 21-01: Guidelines for the Implementation of the Settlement Agreement in Mendez Rojas v. Wolf

Pursuant to Section III.D of the Mendez Rojas settlement agreement, the deadline for individuals to raise a claim that the one-year deadline to file an asylum application does not apply to them was extended from March 31, 2022 until April 22, 2022.  The deadline of April 22, 2022 applies to the filing of any notice of Mendez Rojas class membership and any accompanying documentation, as set forth in the settlement agreement.
