Overview

On May 19, 1960, a dynamite explosion ripped through the Ringgold, Georgia residence of Mattie Green, killing Mattie, a mother of six. The blast injured others. News articles at the time of the bombing indicated that there was no clear motive for Mrs. Green’s murder and no likely suspects.
