APPENDIX D RETROFITS AVAILABLE TO TENANTS AT BRADFORD PARK APARTMENTS

Widen all doors within the unit to provide a 32" clear opening
Lower thermostats to a height of no greater than 48"
Raise electrical outlets to a height of no less than 15"
Install a lever door handle on entry door
Remove all thresholds greater than 1/2" which hinder access into and through the unit
Install reinforcements in the bathroom walls that will allow the installation of grab bars in and around the bathtub, shower, and toilet
