CRS Boosts Community Engagement at United Against Hate Forum at UCLA

On January 25, 2024, the Community Relations Service (CRS) contributed to a United Against Hate program in Dover, Delaware. The event was co-hosted by the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Delaware, the City of Dover and the Dover Police Department.

Launched by the Department of Justice in 2022, the United Against Hate initiative aims to build trust between law enforcement and communities and encourage people to report hate crimes and incidents.

“CRS believes that creating inclusion and equity are vital to building healthy and resilient communities,” said Justin Lock, CRS Chief of Staff Performing Duties of the Director. “When cities and residents work together against hate, we can restore respect, embrace the strength of diversity, and build inclusive and equitable communities for all.”

This event is one of many ways CRS partners with U.S. Attorneys’ Offices across the country to combat hate and encourage discussion. Learn more about United Against Hate: https://www.justice.gov/hatecrimes/spotlight/united-against-hate.
