On May 13, Marcella Triana, an employee of a construction company, was sentenced, in a 5K1.1 downward departure and court variance, to 4 months in prison and 120 hours of community service, followed by 2 years of supervised release; no restitution was ordered. Triana pleaded guilty in September 2011 to one count of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud charged in a September 2011 information. Triana testified at trial against attorney defendant Keith Gregory and corrupt HOA board members David Ball and Salvatore Ruvolo.
Defendant pleaded guilty on September 13, 2011.
