UPDATE – May 29, 2019: On May 21, 2019, defendant Chad Poage pleaded guilty to one count of obtaining possession of a controlled substance by fraud charged in an April 2019 information.  The charges stem from Poage’s repeated use of colleagues’ DEA registration numbers to issue approximately 29 fraudulent prescriptions for acetaminophen-codeine no. 3, tramadol, and diazepam for his own use.
