Philippines: ICITAP Presents Financial Analytics & Data Collection Webinar

On February 7, the ICITAP-Philippines mission provided an update on its financial analytics and data collection assistance efforts. In 2021, ICITAP Philippines launched a new webinar-based mentorship program for investigators, analysts, and attorneys from the Philippine Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) as well as prosecutors from the Philippine Department of Justice (PDOJ). The mentorship program was designed to provide guidance on specific investigative tools, while furthering the development of working relationships between investigators and prosecutors. On February 3, 2022, ICITAP-Philippines conducted a three-hour webinar on Financial Analytics and Data Collection. This was the third webinar of a 10-part series of webinar-mentoring sessions, which were designed to build upon the success of the previous training conferences delivered throughout 2021, and to enhance effectiveness, with respect to specific investigative and analytic tools, through U.S. advisor-led instruction and practical casework illustrations.
