Mexico: ICITAP Completes First Regional Forensics Leadership Workshop

On July 13, ICITAP successfully completed its first regional Forensic Management and Leadership workshop, the Latin American version of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD) Leadership Academy. The course began on April 27 and was delivered by experts from Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States.  The training was originally intended to be conducted in-person in Mexico, but due to the on-going pandemic, was reconfigured to a virtual format by the instructor team.  The new virtual training was delivered in two-hour weekly sessions over approximately three months for 41 participants from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama and Costa Rica.
