Kosovo: ICITAP Attaché Helps Promote Diversity and Inclusion as Member of U.S. Embassy Council

On July 18, the ICITAP-Kosovo mission reported on ICITAP’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in law enforcement and Kosovo society. In July 2020, ICITAP-Kosovo’s Law Enforcement Assistance Attaché became a founding member (and Mission co-chair) of the U.S. Embassy Pristina’s Diversity and Inclusion Council. Through marking the one-year anniversary and ensuring that the Embassy community and Kosovo citizens, government officials are aware of the council’s mission, a video message led by the U.S. Ambassador was developed. Diversity and Inclusion have been embedded in U.S. diplomacy in the Balkans for decades. With the establishment of U.S. Embassy Pristina, Kosovo's first D&I Council, the Embassy commits to making these values central to how we work, think, engage, and support Kosovo.
