Colombia: ICITAP Provides Forensic Photography Training to Attorney General’s Office Personnel

On July 2, ICITAP completed the first Applied Photography in Forensic Anthropology course to Attorney General's Office (AGO) personnel.  The two-week training, which began on June 21, was delivered to 15 forensic photographers assigned to the AGO human exhumation team.  The purpose of the course was to strengthen these participants’ technical and scientific skills in producing digital images that improve the analysis of evidence in AGO human remains identification and related investigation.  The next two-week course for additional AGO personnel is scheduled for August 2021. In Colombia, ICITAP works with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
