Bosnia and Herzegovina: Federation Ministry of Interior Police Academy Receives International Certification

On May 10, the Police Academy of the Federation Ministry of the Interior (FMUP) officially received the International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement Standards and Training (IADLEST) certification. ICITAP-Bosnia Herzegovina Attaché Scott Hatfield presented the certificate subsequent to the FMUP successful completion of the IADLEST certification process that focused on the FMUP’s performance in compliance with the 53 comprehensive standards that cover statutory and regulatory compliance, mutual aid agreements and policies, staffing, operations, facilities, record keeping, training development, training delivery, students, information technology, fiscal and equipment. In Bosnia, ICITAP works with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
