On June 18, ICITAP-Armenia completed a two-week course in police leadership in Yerevan. The 32 graduates included the newly appointed national patrol chief of police and his management team, newly appointed supervisors, as well as police trainers assigned as patrol tactical trainers. Topics included the principles of leadership, leading a democratic policing organization, and supervising within community-oriented policing and problem-oriented policing philosophies. In Armenia, ICITAP works with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
