Moldova: Border Police Express Appreciation to ICITAP Advisors and to CBP

On March 1, 2023, in an unplanned and surprise meeting request, the Chief of the Moldova Border Police presented certificates of appreciation to the ICITAP Land Border Security Advisor (LBSA) program team. The chief presented these awards in honor of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) 20th year anniversary date (March 17) and recognition of the LBSA’s CBP careers. The chief gave his thanks for the support the ICITAP LBSAs have provided and his hope for continued partnerships. His thoughtfulness to present these certificates during a significant anniversary date of several U.S. government agencies merging together through the tragic events of September 11, 2001 and underscored his deep appreciation and support for the ICITAP mission and of the United States. His dedication to improve the border security posture for Moldova is very much appreciated by the ICITAP LBSA’s, and ICITAP is committed to this endeavor.
