Nadine M. Neufville

Nadine M. Neufville is the Deputy Director for Grant Development and Management. She is the liaison between the Department of Justice and federal, state, tribal and international governments on matters pertaining to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). She is also responsible for overseeing OVW’s budget and developing the Department’s legal and policy positions regarding implementation of VAWA. As Deputy Director she provides oversight and guidance for the management of OVW grant programs.

Ms. Neufville joined OVW in 1996 and has been a central part of efforts to enhance connections between criminal and civil justice professionals, improve standards for the delivery of services, and expand training and technical assistance to professionals who work to prevent and respond to domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence and stalking.

Ms. Neufville earned her J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and B.A. from Yale University.
