Survivor Tree Dedication in Recognition of 9/11
Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch held a moment of silence with Justice Department employees in recognition of the 14th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on at the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. The moment of silence was held at 8:46 a.m. in observance of the time at which the first plane struck the World Trade Center. The Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General Sally Quillian Yates, Acting Associate Attorney General Stuart F. Delery and FBI Director James Comey then dedicated a Survivor Tree Seedling from the 9/11 Memorial.
