Executive Secretary

Emily Ross

Emily Ross was sworn-in as Executive Secretary of the Office of the Executive Secretariat (OES) in February 2024. In this capacity, she directed and oversaw OES’s central role in helping to coordinate information flow and official documents in the Department. Prior to her appointment, she served as Executive Secretary at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Ms. Ross has spent her career developing, maturing, and transforming critical processes, including many years on Capitol Hill and for a variety of campaigns and organizations.

Ms. Ross holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, also from Columbia University.
