Pakistan: ICITAP Facilitates Improved Crisis Management Capability at Police Academy

On October 18, ICITAP-Pakistan completed the one-week Crisis Management Course at the National Police Academy (NPA), Islamabad. This DOJ-ICITAP sponsored/INL-P funded course graduated 20 participants, including three females, from the Balochistan, Jammu & Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Sindh Provincial Police. Modules for this course included: Incident Command System (ICS), Critical Incident Management (CIM), Incident Response and Stabilization, Incident Commander Responsibilities, Crisis Recovery, and Inter-operable Communications. This activity was delivered with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs’ Office in Pakistan (INL).
