My husband and I live in Battery Park City. I was home
on Sept. 11 getting ready for work at One World Trade (my office has since
relocated). Our insurance company paid for 30 days additional living
expense which helped immensely, but my husband's asthmatic condition is much
worse when we are at home. I would appreciate it if you would let me know
if there is any way we can get a grant to help our additional living
expenses for the next few months or so. We own our apartment and don't want
to move, but living in the area at the present time is not only emotionally
draining, but physically exhausting as well. Thank you for any guidance or
assistance you can offer.
