Please help!!

Hello,

I live across the street form the World Trade Center. I still have not been able to reoccupy my home. The problem that I am faced with is that my windows were opened during the incident on September 11th which left my apartment and all of its contents covered in a thick layer of ash, dust, etc. Now, I am faced with the expense of having to buy a new couch and a new bed. FEMA and the Red Cross said they won't help us with this. What do I do? I don't feel I should have to pay for new furniture when the stuff I had was perfectly fine. I also do not want to keep it due to the health risk it poses by having it in my apartment. There are millions of dollars that have been donated for the victims of September 11th yet no one can seem to help us. I don't have the money to just buy these new things and it aggravates me that I should have to pay for these new things when I was not the one who ruined them!!!! Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can turn. I was told by FEMA that I can take out a small business loan. Why should I do that and put myself into more debt???? Please help!
