victim compansation

Although it is tragic that so many lost their lives in the bombing and thousands more effected it is not the place for the federal government to pay these victims compensation. When has the government ever before paid compensation to families who lost loved ones in war. Many of them drafted against their will.
There are numerous faith based charities and secular charities that are helping these victims. Let the United States so what it does best, let the people and private enterprise do the job. It is not the place of the federal government to think they have to "fix" everything. it is our tax dollars you are spending and we are also giving to charities. I say no federal dollars to victims.
