Comment on how the 9/11 fund for victimsshould be distributed
This fund was set up to compensate the relatives of those that were killed and to provide assistance to the people that were injured. In the cause of justice and equality the funds should be distributed equally whether those killed were straight, gay, lesbian or transgendered, married or unmarried. The pain suffered by losing a spouse or significant other is the same. Let us treat everyone who suffered a loss equally. Many large companies provide benefits for domestic partners. The DOJ should do no less.
