Terrorism victims
I strongly urge the Federal Government, through the Department of
Justice, to adopt regulations that fairly compensate all victims of the
September 11 bombings.
This includes, but is not limited to traditional and non-traditional
families.
Many Gay and Lesbian people were victims of this horrific act. People
in committed relationships are hurting just as much as people in legally
recognized relationships.
Now is the time to show compassion for all people, and not fall victim
to an American version of the Taliband.
The Pledge of Allegiance ends "with liberty and justice for all."
Please help ensure it is so.
