Victim Compensation
To: Kenneth L. Zwick, Director, Office of Management Programs, Civil
Division, U.S. Department of Justice.
I appreciate the DOJ request for public input into the issue of Victim
Compensation for the September 11 incident. It should be noted that
victims of that tragedy include gay and lesbian partners and the
children in the care of such couples. I am pleading with you to make
sure that the wording of the policy is inclusive of these gay and
lesbian partners and especially the children afflicted by this incident.
