PLEASE
Consider everyone that was effected by the precious lives lost on September
11th when you are coming up with the Rules for the 9/11 Victim Fund.
It would be a crime for you not to include among relatives eligible for
compensation those who lost their life partners or de facto parents or children,
regardless of sexual orientation or marital status.
I can't imagine if my partner would have been lost in such a tragedy - and
then to add insult to injury - to not be eligible for the same treatment as
husbands, wives, and children of 'straight' individuals.... It would only
be, yet another, tragedy!
