Dear Mr. Zwick,
In response to the Justice Departments call for public comment on September 11 Victim Compensation Program. I urge the Department of Justice to include among relatives eligible for compensation those who lost their life partners or de facto parents or children, regardless of sexual orientation or marital status.
It is my belief that to not include these people would be like a slap in the face to these grieving families. Times are changing and we must all stand and support each other during this difficult time regardless of the gender that makes up these loving families.
