Five Individuals Sentenced in Federal Court on Drug Charges

MARTINSBURG, WEST VIRGINIA — Five individuals were sentenced on October
15, 2012, in United States District Court in Martinsburg by Judge Gina M. Groh.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II, announced that:

JON KOENIG SKY, age 32, of Tucson, Arizona, was sentenced to 48 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. SKY entered a plea of guilty on June 20, 2012, to Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana in Martinsburg. SKY was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to a Federal institution. This case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration - Hagerstown, Maryland and Sierra Vista, Arizona, offices.

MARCUS LASHAWN WINFREY, age 27, of Martinsburg, was sentenced to 37 months imprisonment to be followed by six years of supervised release. WINFREY entered a plea of guilty on September 7, 2011, to Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine in Martinsburg. WINFREY was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to a Federal institution. This case was investigated by the Martinsburg Police Department.

MALKUM MUHAMMED JENNINGS, age 25, of Keyser, West Virginia, was sentenced to 42 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. JENNINGS entered a plea of guilty on July 18, 2012, to Distribution of Crack Cocaine in Kearneysville, West Virginia. JENNINGS, who is free on bond, will self-report to the designated Federal institution.

SIERA LADAWN CONDREY, age 27, of Martinsburg, was sentenced to 12 months and 1 day imprisonment to be followed by six years of supervised release. CONDREY entered a plea of guilty on July 19, 2012, to the Distribution of Crack Cocaine within 1,000 Feet of the Burke Street Elementary School. CONDREY was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to a Federal institution.

TRAVIS ELSTON LUTTRELL, age 30, of Martinsburg, was sentenced to 10 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. LUTTRELL entered a plea of guilty on June 28, 2012, to the Distribution of Crack Cocaine in Martinsburg. LUTTRELL, who is free on bond, will self-report to the designated Federal institution.

These cases were investigated by the Eastern Panhandle Drug & Violent Crime Task Force, consisting of officers from the West Virginia State Police - Bureau of Criminal Investigation, the Martinsburg Police Department, and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department.

These five cases were prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Thomas O. Mucklow.
