Ohio Man Sentenced to Ten Years on
Domestic Violence and Gun Charges

WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA — A 28-year old Bridgeport, Ohio, man was sentenced on May 7, 2012, in United States District Court in Wheeling by Judge Frederick P. Stamp, Jr.

United States Attorney William J. Ihlenfeld, II announced that:

MICHAEL TIMBERLAKE was sentenced to 120 months imprisonment to be followed by three years of supervised release. TIMBERLAKE entered pleas of guilty on March 12, 2012, to one count of “Interstate Domestic Violence” and one count of “Transportation of a Stolen Firearm.” TIMBERLAKE was remanded to the custody of the United States Marshal pending designation to federal institution.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Randolph J. Bernard and was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
